We hope many of you, like us, are taking this chance to pick up a physical copy of METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 2 and show that physical media still matters. This PS5 Day One Edition brings two major entries together in one collection, including Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and the HD Collection version of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

What’s included

• Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
• Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version, with online play for up to six players)
• Metal Gear: Ghost Babel bonus game
• Metal Gear Solid: Digital Soundtrack Vol. 2
• Digital Screenplay Books and Master Books for MGS4 and Peace Walker
• The Metal Gear Solid 4 Database

The Day One Edition also includes in-game bonus uniforms: Cardboard Camouflage for MGS4 and the LOVE BOX Uniform for Peace Walker. Players with save data from MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 can also receive Gold Camouflage for MGS4 and a GOLD Uniform for Peace Walker. The collection released on August 27, 2026, across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam.

For longtime fans, owning these games on a modern physical release is a meaningful way to support preservation and show publishers that players still value having a copy they can keep on their shelves. We appreciate everyone who continues to support MGN and physical game releases.
