Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD delisted from the Xbox Store

Konami has delisted Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD from the Xbox Store, removing the older standalone digital version from sale.

It’s no surprise to us following the removal of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater before Master Collection Vol. 1. This time, Peace Walker is returning as part of Master Collection Vol. 2.

If you already bought Peace Walker HD, you can still download it through the Xbox account that owns it. A physical Xbox 360 copy remains another option on compatible hardware with a disc drive.

Many fans who wanted the game will already have a copy, but physical editions also remain an option on PlayStation 3 and PSP. The PSP version can also be played on compatible PS Vita or PlayStation TV setups; those systems use digital software rather than PSP discs.
