Kotobukiya’s Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes character set is returning as a reissued 1/35-scale plastic model kit.
The set includes Snake in standing, running and crouching poses, alongside Skull Face, Chico and a Marine in standard and poncho versions. Equipment includes rifles, Skull Face’s gun, night-vision goggles, an iDroid and a cassette player.
The crouching Snake can be combined with the night-vision goggles to recreate his memorable entrance in Ground Zeroes. For us, that makes the set especially appealing for a small display inspired by Camp Omega or the game’s opening.
This is an assembly kit supplied unpainted. The manufacturer’s photographs show painted examples, and the diorama scenery is not included. Plastic-model adhesive is required for assembly, so it is a different proposition from a ready-to-display figure.
