Konami has published platform specifications for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, giving us a clearer picture of how Metal Gear Solid 4, Peace Walker and the bonus content will run on each system.
The charts cover MGS4 version 1.4.0, Peace Walker version 1.3.0 and bonus content version 1.2.0. They separate output resolution from internal rendering resolution, an important distinction when comparing the console versions.
PS5, including PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X and Steam are listed with maximum internal and output resolutions of 3840 × 2160 at up to 60 FPS. Xbox Series S tops out at 2560 × 1440, also at up to 60 FPS.
Switch 2 supports up to 60 FPS in both modes. In TV mode, the chart lists 3840 × 2160 output with a maximum internal resolution of 2560 × 1440. Handheld mode tops out at 1920 × 1080 internally and at output. That means the docked 4K figure should not be read as native 4K rendering.
The original Switch is capped at 30 FPS, with 1280 × 720 in handheld mode and 1920 × 1080 in TV mode. MGS4’s approximate storage requirements include 25 GB on PS5, 26 GB on Xbox and Steam, and 19 GB on the original Switch.

Peace Walker offers Original, Fine, High Resolution and Custom settings on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and Steam. Custom settings separate internal resolution, internal upscaling and the cutscene artwork setting.
Maximum output reaches 3840 × 2160 on PS5, Xbox Series X and Steam; 2560 × 1440 on Series S; and 1920 × 1080 on Switch 2. These versions are listed at up to 60 FPS. The original Switch is listed at 1280 × 720 and up to 30 FPS in both handheld and TV modes.

The bonus content requires approximately 1 GB across the listed platforms and supports up to 60 FPS. Output and internal resolution are 1920 × 1080 on PS5, Xbox, Switch 2 and Steam, and 1280 × 720 on the original Switch.

We are especially interested in the jump from MGS4’s original PS3 release to the collection’s higher frame-rate limits. These are maximum specifications, though: Konami notes that performance can vary with processing load and the operating environment, and frame rates may drop during video playback.
