Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater has received another welcome visual correction in the Master Collection. A comparison shared by @HEITAIs shows that grass obstructing a late-game scene with Snake and EVA has been removed in version 1.5.0.
The scene is the transition from western to eastern Zaozyorje. According to HEITAIs, the obstruction originated in the 2011 HD Edition and had remained there until this patch.

As we explained in our self-reply, the Bluepoint Games versions of MGS2 and MGS3 introduced a handful of small visual bugs in the 2011 HD Edition. Some of those details went largely unremarked upon for years.
With each Master Collection patch, community members have been noticing corrections that are not individually listed in the patch notes. We appreciate that attention to detail, especially where the visual problems were absent from the original releases.
It is encouraging to see the team address these things. We also thanked HEITAIs for continuing to document the differences: that work helps players recognise changes they might otherwise miss.
