Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2’s official portal is live

The official Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 portal is live, with the collection’s contents, bonus material, and purchase extras laid out. Here are the details we shared from the site.

MGS4 includes the game, the MGS4 Database, a digital screenplay book, and a digital master book. Peace Walker is based on the HD Collection version and includes its own screenplay and master books. Both games are also listed for standalone digital purchase.

The screenplay books collect cutscene, radio, and briefing text. The master books contain character information, quotes, gameplay tips, trivia, and rank information.

Bundle bonus content includes Metal Gear: Ghost Babel and a 16-track digital soundtrack with a dedicated in-game player. Ghost Babel’s VS Battle mode is not included. These bonuses come with the bundle rather than individual game purchases.

Early-purchase and preorder extras are cardboard camouflage for MGS4 and the Love Box uniform for Peace Walker.

Players with save data from a Vol. 1 title created under the same account on the system used for Vol. 2 can receive gold camouflage in MGS4 and a gold uniform in Peace Walker. Playing Vol. 2 first and then creating qualifying Vol. 1 save data also counts.
