Metal Gear Solid 4 Looks Incredible on Nintendo Switch 2 in New Comparison Footage

New footage from ElAnalistaDeBits gives us a side-by-side look at Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots running on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and the original PlayStation 3. In the scene shown, Switch 2 is hovering around 59 to 60 frames per second, close to the PS5 version at 60 FPS, while the PS3 version struggles to keep up.

The Switch 2 image appears to be upscaled to 4K, and its level of detail looks remarkably close to the PS5 version. This footage makes the port look impressively well optimized and gives us the impression that it was built for the hardware rather than simply relying on emulation. We will need to get hands-on time before drawing firm conclusions, but this is looking incredible. We need our hands on this, Konami! 😅
