Metal Gear series cumulative sales reach 62.9 million in May 2025

News 🚨 Back in January of this year, we reported that KONAMI GROUP CORPORATION’s cumulative sales for the Metal Gear series stood at 62.4 million units. The latest update from last night from financial and earning reports shows that total cumulative sales have now reached 62.9 million, an increase of 500,000 units.

There is no doubt that the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater will have a significant impact on these numbers toward the end of this year, leading into Konami fiscal year for 2025 in March of 2026. This is in addition to the anticipated official reveal of the Master Collection Vol. 2 and the roadmap for other upcoming projects in the franchise.
