Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is getting a physical PlayStation 4 release on March 7, 2024. Konami’s announcement specifies EMEA regions only.

The PS4 edition has been available digitally since October 24. A physical release arriving months later is an unusual situation, and we wondered whether the disc master would include the latest 1.4.0 update. The announcement does not establish which patch version is on the disc.
The initial Konami UK post of this says "in EMEA regions ONLY". I wonder if their post was just directed at those regions or if this will actually only be limited to those regions for this physical release. That to me makes ZERO sense. Ok now I'm really confused.
@MultiCallum Yeah I wonder what's going on here. A physical release on the PS4 for all regions makes more sense here.
The wording is explicit in Konami’s regional press release: this announced physical edition is for EMEA. Our replies reflect the questions we raised when the news first appeared.
