The Art of Death Stranding 2: Japanese edition collects Yoji Shinkawa’s work in 240 pages

The official Japanese edition of The Art of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach brings Yoji Shinkawa’s artwork and the Kojima Productions art team’s designs together in a 240-page hardcover. We shared it through Hobby Genki following its April 2, 2026 release in Japan.

The collection covers characters, creatures, equipment and environments, with concept art and design materials that show the work behind the game’s visual world. Hobby Genki’s listing notes commentary by Shinkawa and says this edition retains the original English text alongside Japanese translations.

Our sample images include Sam’s outfit and gear from multiple angles, along with a spread dedicated to the DHV Magellan. They offer a closer view of individual costume components and the ship’s development drawings.
