Noriaki Okamura acknowledges tough fan feedback on Metal Gear

During Metal Gear Production Hotline 01, producer Noriaki Okamura addressed the direct feedback the team has received from fans, including their displeasure with Konami and its handling of Metal Gear.

Okamura said that seeing some of the feedback was tough, but acknowledged that fans should be able to share their honest opinions about how they feel.

We have a lot of respect for the team and Konami for acknowledging those negative sentiments openly. We have said this repeatedly: they are listening to what fans have to say, good or bad. That willingness to confront criticism is an encouraging part of the conversation around the series.
