We spotted Kotobukiya’s Metal Gear RAY 1/100-scale plastic model kit for $97.59 on Amazon on December 20, 2025—34% off its typical price of around $147 or more.

The Metal Gear Solid 4 kit stands approximately 210 mm (8.3 inches) tall and requires assembly and painting. Tools and paint are sold separately. Its design was supervised by Yoji Shinkawa, who also created the packaging artwork.

The kit includes selectable parts for the manned and unmanned configurations, a head sensor made with clear and painted parts, and replacement parts for displaying the mouth-mounted water cutter. It also includes a dedicated display base, landing-gear parts, camouflage decals, and five unpainted miniature figures representing Old Snake, Liquid Ocelot, and Haven soldiers.
