Konami reminds physical Master Collection owners to install launch patches

Konami has shared a platform-by-platform list of the Master Collection Vol. 1 patch versions available at launch. The Japanese Metal Gear account asks physical-copy owners to update before starting, while noting that download editions are already current.

Players can check the in-game notices for details. We’re continuing to follow the post-launch fixes and encourage everyone to keep the collection updated.

Our self-reply described what we had seen at that point, rather than a complete assessment of every platform:

I have to say though. I have had no game breaking issues on the PS5. I have heard of specific issues on NSwitch and PS4 but the vast majority of issues have mostly surrounded the Steam release. Not to say there aren't more, just from what I have seen. I'll try my best to keep everyone informed.
