Konami posts MGS1 version 1.2.2 beta update notice on Steam

Konami is continuing to post Master Collection updates through Steam’s community hubs. The notice we shared for MGS1 describes version 1.2.2 as a beta update addressing abnormal game speed.

The notice also warns that the beta may introduce other issues and tells players to opt out and return to the original release version if that happens. It provides instructions for joining the beta through the game’s Steam properties.

We encouraged players to keep checking the community hub. Our follow-up comment reflected our view of the early support process:

They're tackling things bug by bug in all versions instead of fixing MGS1, then MGS2 etc etc. We are 4 days out, give them some time and lets see what happens at least.
