Metal Gear series sales reach 63.3 million as of June 2025

Metal Gear’s cumulative series sales reached 63.3 million units as of the end of June 2025, according to Konami’s corporate figures.

Back in May, we reported a total of 62.9 million, itself an increase of 500,000 over the previous figure. The June update added another 400,000 units.

With Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater approaching its August release, we expected a strong launch to have a significant impact on the series total through the rest of the year and into Konami’s fiscal year ending in March 2026.

We were also looking ahead to the anticipated reveal of Master Collection Vol. 2 and the wider roadmap for future Metal Gear projects.
