Yoji Shinkawa’s one-of-a-kind Metal Gear M-Rex model

Yoji Shinkawa, seen here holding his custom, one-of-a-kind Metal Gear M-Rex model, built using parts from various other model kits.

It features the cannon prominently shown in early concept art, rather than the railgun seen in the final revised design.

The model was also featured at his art exhibition at the Konami Style Tokyo Midtown Store in Tokyo in January 2011. What an amazing piece of Metal Gear history it is.
