Solid Snake joins Rainbow Six Siege as Operation Silent Hunt launches

Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Silent Hunt is out today, March 3, bringing Solid Snake into the game as a permanent operator. The launch trailer gives us a look at Snake in action alongside skins inspired by the Metal Gear Solid cast.

Snake’s kit brings the Soliton Radar MK III into Siege, with its familiar alert states and a Precision Mode that reveals nearby enemies’ positions and the direction they are facing. His On-Site Procurement ability lets him recover secondary gadgets from eliminated operators, while the new TACIT .45 supplies a suppressed sidearm.

Solid Snake can be unlocked through the Operation Silent Hunt Battle Pass. The season also includes more Metal Gear crossover content, with the [REDACTED] event pairing Snake with Sam Fisher due to begin in the following weeks.
