Master Collection Vol. 1 version 1.3.1 is rolling out on select platforms from November 27. We shared Konami’s patch notes and platform chart below.

Which games are updated?

On PS4 and Xbox Series X|S, 1.3.1 covers MGS2, MGS3, and Metal Gear & Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Switch receives it for MGS2 only. Konami’s chart lists the other game/platform combinations at 1.3.0.

Trophies, browser changes and adjustments

The PS4 updates address trophies failing to unlock. Some trophies require their conditions to be met again, even with an eligible save.

The Xbox updates switch the in-game browser to Microsoft Edge. These releases also include minor fixes and adjustments, including Switch’s MGS2 update.

Issues still under investigation

Konami still lists interrupted MGS1 cutscenes, MGS2 laser-pointer and sea-lice effects, low-resolution MGS3 face paints, and missing microphone audio in Xbox captures for MGS2 and MGS3. Further improvement updates will follow as details are finalized.
