PlayStation lists Metal Gear Solid Delta among its 2024 games

PlayStation has listed Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater among its games for 2024, as reported by IGN. At the time of our report, we had not seen a corresponding release confirmation from Konami.

In our self-reply, we linked PlayStation’s 2024 roundup and highlighted its qualification: “All featured titles scheduled for release in 2024 at the time of publication.” That is a planning window, rather than a firm release date.

Our reaction

@vinnierib1 I can't imagine Konami would let this entire year go by without a release date announcement for Delta. Though some seem to think that prediction is crazy talk 🤨. This could also just be PlayStation just flexing their release lineup knowing any of these games could be delayed.

We were hopeful about hearing more, while leaving room for plans to change. A listing in Sony’s year-ahead promotion should not be treated as an independently confirmed date from Konami.
