Metal Gear Solid 4 Master Collection update 1.4.2 fixes Act 4 progression and stability issues

Version 1.4.2 of METAL GEAR SOLID 4: GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS (Master Collection Version) was released today, Thursday, November 5, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

The main changes

• Fixed an issue that could prevent progress on the Act 4 results screen under certain conditions.
• Fixed an issue that could cause instability during extended play sessions.
• Fixed an issue that could prevent progress after ramming certain enemies with the drum can.
• Fixed an issue that could prevent progress after the opening cutscene of Act 4 in certain environments. This fix applies to the Steam version only.
