Master Collection 1.5.0 launches on Steam with an analog-input fix

Version 1.5.0 of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is live on Steam. One important MGS1 change immediately stood out to us: a fix for analog input not behaving as intended.

When we first posted, MGS1, MGS2, and the bonus content had updated. We then added a self-reply confirming that MGS3’s patch notes were available too.

Our follow-up observations

Seeing an additional pause menu in MGS2 felt strange in the best way. After looking further, we described this as a great patch, with some worthwhile fixes and additions.

We also clarified our expectations. We were still looking for audio and other quality-of-life improvements, but our anticipation of a particularly large patch was speculation based on SteamDB activity. It was not an announced patch size or a confirmed list of features.
