Metal Gear Solid 4 video showcases Solid Eye and OctoCamo in Master Collection Vol. 2

Konami has shared a new Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots feature video for Master Collection Vol. 2, highlighting two of Snake’s signature pieces of infiltration equipment: the Solid Eye and OctoCamo.

The official Japanese post explains that the Solid Eye combines functions such as magnification and night vision with the ability to identify soldiers and items. It brings several reconnaissance tools together, helping Snake read his surroundings before deciding how to move through them.

OctoCamo handles the other side of infiltration: blending into the environment. The official description emphasizes its ability to change camouflage instantly to suit the situation. Where the Solid Eye helps Snake gather information, OctoCamo helps him avoid being noticed.

Our first reaction to the footage: this port is looking sharp and crispy. 😍
